Lauren Elizabeth Baba is Artistic Director and curator of the music series โ€œBig Band Nightsโ€ that headlines three big bands in one night โ€“ creating a space for big band leaders to perform + share music + ideas and to build a strong music community.  There have been 8 shows in the series featuring John Daversa [Frost Jazz Orchestra], Genevieve Artadi, Alan Ferber, Joey Sellers, Kim Richmond, Elliot Deutsch, and many others. โ€œStudent Big Band Composer Spotlightโ€ - a sub-series that premiers original student compositions that are workshopped + performed + recorded by theBABAorchestra.
